A 10-site transport estate, designed around one war room.
This is a solution design, not a results case study. It shows how a transport operator can bring a distributed, mixed-brand estate into one command-centre workflow.

The challenge
Ten sites need to be visible to one central team. The estate includes mixed camera and recorder brands, local operators, and a requirement to know when recording falls short, not only when a live view disappears.
The war room must keep attention on failed and alarmed cameras without turning every site interruption into a wall of duplicate alerts.
The design
Alerts to tickets
Each actionable incident opens one ticket with evidence, ownership, and an SLA timer. Recovery closes the same incident.
Retention against contract
Every site's actual recording retention is compared with the agreed requirement, with shortfalls raised for action.
Client control
The operator's users see their own sites, roles, incidents, and service reports in one view.
Local continuity
A local wall at each site can keep local viewing available during an internet outage.

Discover
Confirm the site list, camera and recorder models, recording commitments, display needs, and operating roles.

Connect
Add each site through a small on-site appliance with outbound-only connectivity. No static IP, no port forwarding, and nothing opened inbound is required.

Baseline
Check the estate, review initial camera and recording findings, and agree what healthy means for each site.

Assemble the wall
Configure site groups, tours, alarm behaviour, full-screen views, and local walls.

Validate
Prove camera failure, picture failure, site-link failure, ticket handling, recording retention, and local continuity with the operating team.

Hand over
Train operators, confirm roles and escalation, and begin monthly SLA and uptime reporting.
